What are your St. Patrick’s Day plans? How about some great music to go along with the drinking? If that sounds like a good plan to you, come down to The Vogue on Thursday, March 17th to experience an evening with Keller Williams while enjoying your favorite spirits.
Proving that creativity transcends genre boundaries, Keller Williams (the musician) has also recently released a children’s book entitled “Because I Said So”. The title of the book comes from a song on Williams’ most recent album for the elementary school crowd, “Kids”. Don’t go thinking that the show on Thursday night will be for kids though – they still don’t let them into bars the last time I checked.
Keller Williams also released another album in 2010 as a side project with a couple of friends. The title is “Thief”, and it involves bluegrass covers of some, shall we say, different songs, like Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”, and Cracker’s “Teen Angst”. I for one am hoping he’ll bust a few of these out at the show for us! I’d love to hear “Rehab” – the banjo version!
